Break the Beat, Claim the World

Why We Exist

At YongLin Foundation, we believe that dance is more than expression—it’s identity, movement, and global language. With breaking set to debut on the Olympic stage, Taiwan’s dancers deserve every opportunity to rise, represent, and redefine what it means to move with purpose. That’s why Ms. Hsin-Ying Tseng, a lifelong champion of the arts and the visionary behind this initiative, created a platform where Taiwan’s breaking talent can be trained, seen, and celebrated.

How We Lead

Through the YongLin Breaking Dance Training Program, we are building Taiwan’s pipeline of elite breaking talent with precision, passion, and international perspective. Our strategy revolves around three core commitments:

  • Elevating Excellence

We offer elite dancers specialized courses, training subsidies, and access to top-tier instruction—ensuring they are equipped to compete and shine on the global stage.

  • Growing a Movement

By building a robust training infrastructure, we nurture the next generation of breaking stars and expand the cultural influence of street dance across Taiwan.

  • Championing Careers in Dance

We advocate for professional dance as a legitimate and thriving career path, creating more visibility, value, and opportunity for talented performers.

Where We Drive Change

YongLin Breaking Dance Training Program

The YongLin Breaking Dance Training Program is Taiwan’s most comprehensive initiative for competitive breaking. Spearheaded by Ms. Tseng Hsin-Ying and in partnership with the Chinese Taipei Street Dance Association, the program introduces international judging standards, professional instructors, and cross-border exchanges.

From workshops that fuse sport science with artistry, to global mentorship and cultural exchange, our efforts empower dancers to evolve from national talent to international contenders. The program doesn’t just build skill—it builds community, confidence, and a sense of belonging in the global breaking movement.
