Why We Exist

At YongLin Foundation, we believe that dance is more than movement—it’s a language of emotion, identity, and ambition. Through the vision of Ms. Tseng Hsin-Ying, a trained professional dancer and the Foundation’s co-founder, we are committed to giving young Taiwanese dancers the opportunity to express themselves, grow artistically, and connect with the global stage. How We Lead

We launched the YongLin Dance Competition in 2023 to nurture emerging talent and elevate Taiwan’s position in the international dance community. Our approach is grounded in three key strategies:

Creating Global Stages

By hosting competitions that invite world-renowned judges and performers, we give Taiwanese dancers direct exposure to international standards and styles.

Empowering Young Dancers

Through professional training workshops and educational programs tailored by age group—from children to adults—we cultivate both technique and artistic depth.

YongLin Dance Competition

The YongLin Dance Competition is more than an event—it’s a movement. In its inaugural year, the competition created a vibrant platform for cultural exchange, drawing talented dancers from Taiwan and around the world. By integrating global ideas into the local arts ecosystem, we’re helping to build a sustainable pipeline of Taiwanese dance professionals ready to take on the world.

We also bring in top-tier instructors and international judges to raise the bar for both creativity and execution. Our efforts are aimed at developing a new generation of dancers who are not only technically proficient but also globally fluent in the language of performance.
