Building Dreams, Empowering Lives

Why We Exist

At Yonglin Foundation, we believe in more than just offering aid—we believe in empowering transformation. Our vision is rooted in the principle of “giving a fish, giving a rod, and teaching to fish.” We support vulnerable individuals not only to recover from hardship but also to thrive—and even become helpers themselves. This virtuous cycle of empowerment aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly: • SDG 1: No Poverty • SDG 5: Gender Equality • SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth • SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities • SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production

How We Lead

The “Dream Builders” initiative is powered by two flagship programs:

• Yonglin Social Welfare Station: This program helps small and micro-sized social welfare organizations build capacity and scale their services. It also encourages these groups to develop self-sustaining business models and social innovation strategies.

• Yonglin Women’s Dream Builders: Focused on mothers and women re-entering the workforce, this initiative supports their pursuit of diverse employment paths, personal development, and financial independence—turning adversity into empowerment.

Our approach integrates marketing support, storytelling, and circular giving to elevate both products and people.

Areas of focus

The Dream Builder Catalog

Every year, Yonglin Foundation donates tens of millions of NT dollars to help small social welfare organizations and women re-entering the workforce build sustainable income models. We also publish the "Dream Builder Manual"—a curated guide to responsibly produced goods and services—encouraging values-driven purchases that foster a culture of conscious consumption.

Social Impact Gift Boxes

By infusing branding, design, and storytelling into products made by micro-welfare groups and second-career mothers, we boost their visibility and market appeal. Seasonal gift boxes feature upgraded packaging, professional photography, and narratives that highlight social value—transforming purchases into statements of purpose.

Dream Builder Marketplace

The Dream Builder Marketplace serves as a real-world testing ground for aspiring entrepreneurs. These pop-up events allow grassroots social enterprises and mother-run ventures to enter the market, interact directly with consumers, and refine their business strategies through live feedback. Beyond sales, each marketplace booth becomes a platform for social engagement and validation, building confidence, skills, and a sustainable path toward independence.
