Teaching the Thinkers for Tomorrow

Why We Exist

We believe the future belongs to those who can think critically, feel deeply, and act with purpose. At YongLin Foundation, we are reimagining what education can be—beyond test scores and textbooks. By nurturing diverse learning abilities and championing creativity, logic, and character, we are helping young minds grow into problem-solvers, innovators, and compassionate citizens.

How We Lead

We empower the next generation by embedding curiosity, empathy, and resilience at the heart of learning. Through close partnerships with youth organizations, our programs focus on three pillars of future-ready education:

• STEAM Education
Hands-on, project-based learning introduces students to science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics—igniting curiosity and building practical skills through real-world applications.

• Character Development
We incorporate immersive empathy-building experiences into the classroom, helping students develop emotional intelligence, social awareness, and a deeper understanding of others.

• Logical Thinking and Problem-Solving
Inspired by global best practices, we bring design thinking challenges and critical thinking exercises into everyday learning—cultivating children who not only learn facts, but know how to apply them with confidence.

Areas of focus

STEAM: Learning by Doing

From building self-driving cars to programming board games, students explore cutting-edge technology through hands-on challenges. Our STEAM curriculum aligns with international education reforms and empowers children to explore, experiment, and lead.

Character Education for the New Generation

Through the use of virtual reality, students experience the realities of school bullying from multiple perspectives—nurturing empathy through lived simulation. Combined with social work support and reflective activities, this program helps build integrity, kindness, and personal growth.

Logical Thinking and the ICAN Mindset

Inspired by Finland’s education model and brought to Taiwan through a collaboration with the team behind Three Idiots, this program equips students with the “ICAN” mindset: I can think, I can solve, I can create. Through design thinking challenges, children learn to see obstacles not as setbacks, but as invitations to innovate.
